Amber serves as corporate counsel for businesses of all sizes in mergers, acquisitions, stock sales, and other asset transfers. She is dedicated to supporting clients through the transfer process so that the transaction can be as smooth and seamless as possible. Amber assists in all aspects of a transaction, including negotiating and preparing transfer documents, due diligence analysis and review, disclosure schedule review and preparation, closing and post-closing matters. She also provides assistance with the formation of corporations and LLCs, registered agent services, corporate compliance, and general corporate matters.

Amber is dedicated to obtaining favorable outcomes for her clients in difficult cases. She once obtained a tax exemption that was previously denied by the Illinois Department of Revenue. Another time she was part of the litigation team that obtained a judgment for the turnover of silver bars in a fraudulent transfer case.

In addition to her corporate practice, Amber represents banks in various lending and workout matters. She handles foreclosures, collections, fraudulent transfers, banking issues, bankruptcy, and real estate matters for clients in the financial services industry. She provides counsel on issues such as non-payment on loans, breach of contracts, rights of creditors in bankruptcies, including filing reaffirmation agreements, filing proofs of claims, obtaining relief from the automatic stay, and providing preference defense. In addition, she has experience in loan document preparation and review for real estate and aircraft lending.

Amber provides review and analysis of lease agreements, sublease agreements, and contracts for banking and corporate clients. She assists with both residential and commercial real estate closings and also represents clients in tax appeals, tax exemption hearings, and other real estate litigation matters, such as, adverse possession claims.
