Overview
Mike Resis, current president of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC), was recently interviewed by Chicago Lawyer about his involvement with the IDC and the future of the organization. The IDC is a nonprofit committee of defense attorneys dedicated to improving the judicial system and practice throughout Illinois. In the interview Mike discusses the mission of the IDC, economic and legislative challenges in the legal field, and the IDC weighing in on proposed amendments to Illinois Supreme Court rules.
Mike got involved with the IDC early in his law career. As Mike states in the article, “I think part of being a lawyer is volunteering your time to the legal community and to think beyond yourself as a lawyer.”
