Overview

Amundsen Davis represented an international direct sales business in a suit for breach of restrictive covenant and nondisclosure agreements, and other claims including, trade secret misappropriation and breach of fiduciary duty, against a former key manager alleged to have formed similar business while still employed by the client, using its protected work product and intellectual property. We also defended the company, its affiliates, owners and executives, against an eight figure counterclaim for tortious interference and other claims. Summary judgment was awarded on the eve of jury trial to the client on major counterclaims, leading to a favorable settlement.
