Overview

Debra Mastrian represented a data corporation in a lawsuit against a distributor of computer software products over the parties master license agreement. She argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and was successful in preventing the distributor’s attempt to force the matter into arbitration. The lawsuit involved deceptive franchise practices, unfair competition consisting of predatory pricing of the software and other claims.
